Zusammenfassung
Building Information Modeling (BIM) und Nachhaltigkeit, wie passt das zusammen? Wie lässt sich darüber hinaus in der Region die Methode BIM einführen, umsetzen und wie lassen sich dabei auch noch beim Planen, Bauen, Bewirtschaften oder Sanieren Kosten und Zeit einsparen? Das Kooperationsprojekt »Netzwerk Building Information Modeling Mittleres Ruhrgebiet« – kurz BIM.Ruhr – zeigt, wie es funktionieren kann und erforscht gemeinsam mit Wissenschaft, Bauwirtschaft und öffentlicher Verwaltung modellhaft, wie die BIM-Methode in der Region gestärkt eingesetzt, weiterentwickelt und verbreitet werden kann.
Der Fokus des Projektes liegt im Auf- und Ausbau eines BIM-Innovationsnetzwerks im Bereich der Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und öffentlichen Verwaltung, die hier eng zusammenarbeiten. Ziel ist es, das Wissen und die Kompetenz im Bereich BIM bei den Netzwerkmitgliedern zu steigern. Innerhalb des Projektes werden darüber hinaus drei Pilotvorhaben mit der BIM-Methode begleitet. Im stetigen Austausch mit dem Netzwerk und basierend auf wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen publizieren die BIM.Ruhr-Projektpartner*innen mit Abschluss des Projektes BIM-Handlungsanweisungen und einen Leitfaden. Diese sollen als Grundlage insbesondere Kommunen dienen und auch den weiteren am BIM-Prozess beteiligten Akteur*innen eine Hilfestellung geben, um zukünftige regionale Projekte mit digitalen Methoden im Sinne eines Building Information Modeling bewerkstelligen zu können. Aufgrund ihrer innovativen, nachhaltigen und zukunftsorientierten Strukturen werden alle drei Teilprojekte des Kooperationsprojektes BIM.Ruhr aus Mitteln des Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) gefördert.
Summary
Building Information Modeling (BIM) and sustainability – how do the two fit together? How can the BIM method be introduced, implemented and applied in the region and how can costs and time be saved in development, construction, real estate management and redevelopment? The cooperative project »Netzwerk Building Information Modeling Mittleres Ruhrgebiet« – BIM.Ruhr for short – shows how it can work and, together with science, the construction industry and public administration, explore in an exemplary manner how the BIM method can be further developed, established and disseminated in the region.
The project focuses on the launch and continued expansion of an innovative network centered around BIM with the collaborative work of science, business and public administration. The aim is to increase the knowledge and competence in the field of BIM among the members of the network. Within the program, three pilot projects are accompanied with the BIM method. In constant exchange with the network and based on scientific findings, the BIM.Ruhr project partners publish BIM manuals and a guideline at the end of the project. These are intended to serve as a basis for municipalities in particular and also to aid other actors involved in the BIM process in order to be able to carry out future regional projects using digital methods in the sense of Building Information Modeling. Due to their innovative, sustainable and future-oriented structures, all three sub-projects of the BIM.Ruhr cooperation are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
