Summary
The technical »Referendariat« is the key instrument for mastering the challenges of sustainable and modern leadership development in Geodesy and Geoinformation and a process of adult education. Competence orientation is the focus. Since 2015, apprentices have been trained in Berlin again. As part of the reconstruction process, efforts are being made to integrate the objectives of the reform of the technical »Referendariat«, the well-tried elements of training, central knowledge of adult education and academic experience. Input orientation has been replaced by output orientation. In addition to quality management system, a competence management system is desirable. A significant challenge is the implementation of a learning environment in which the trainees work self-organized and motivated to build up their competences. The technical »Referendariat« has to develop a new competence-oriented, digital learning culture and align the examination procedures with it.
