Summary
Geodata are of great interest because they are necessary for almost all spatial activities and satisfy diverse information needs. Therefore, there is a great demand, which is in the area of conflict between the protection of personal data on the one hand and the freedom of information claims of the users on the other, whereby copyright and database protection rights must also be observed. Against this background, the article analyses the use of geodata in the light of recent case law.
