Zusammenfassung
Geodaten sind von großem Interesse, weil sie für fast alle raumbezogenen Aktivitäten notwendig sind und vielfältige Informationsbedürfnisse befriedigen. Daher besteht eine große Nachfrage, die sich im Spannungsfeld des Schutzes personenbezogener Daten auf der einen und den Informationsfreiheitsansprüchen der Nutzer auf der anderen Seite bewegt, wobei auch Urheber- und Datenbankschutzrechte zu beachten sind. Vor diesem Hintergrund analysiert der Beitrag die Verwendung von Geodaten im Spiegel der neueren Rechtsprechung.
Summary
Geodata are of great interest because they are necessary for almost all spatial activities and satisfy diverse information needs. Therefore, there is a great demand, which is in the area of conflict between the protection of personal data on the one hand and the freedom of information claims of the users on the other, whereby copyright and database protection rights must also be observed. Against this background, the article analyses the use of geodata in the light of recent case law.
