Im 100 jährigen Jubiläumsjahr fand die XXVII. Generalversammlung der Internationalen Union für Geodäsie und Geophysik (IUGG) vom 8. bis 18. Juli 2019 in Montreal, Kanada, statt. Dem Anlass entsprechend stand sie unter dem Motto »IUGG Centennial 1919–2019«.
