Zusammenfassung
Die Bestimmung eines gleichmäßigen Geschwindigkeitsfeldes aus ungleichmäßig verteilten GPS-Stationen entspricht der Problemstellung der Scattered Data Approximation durch Freiformflächen. The comparison with the very common collocation method emphasises the advantages of the Multilevel B-Spline Approximation method.
